The Future of Jobs 2025 report, published by the World Economic Forum, revealed that 22 percent of jobs will be disrupted by 2030, with 170 million new jobs created, while 92 million jobs will be eliminated, resulting in a net increase of 78 million.

Technological advances, demographic shifts, geo-economic tensions, and economic pressures are key drivers driving these changes, reshaping industries and professions globallyThe report revealed that the skills gap remains the biggest impediment to business transformation, with 40 percent of the skills required in jobs expected to change. Demand for technology skills, such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cybersecurity, is expected to grow rapidly, but human skills, such as creative thinking, resilience, and adaptability will remain crucial. Front-end roles and core sectors, such as welfare and education, are also expected to see the largest job growth by 2030.
